(b Salo, March 22, 1954). Finnish composer. He studied musicology at the University of Turku (MA 1982) and from 1982 to 1987 he studied composition with Heininen at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. He is a composer of short pieces for one or a few instruments in a condensed post-serial style.
